Kurany Kerim
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Kuran Türkmen - Namaz & Azan, shown on your device as Kurany Kerim (the “App”), accesses and handles information on Android. The App provides Qur’an reading and audio, prayer times, Qibla direction, religious reminders and dhikr tools. Questions may be sent to turkmenkuran.developer@gmail.com.
1. Device permissions and how they are used
Location
With your permission, the App can use approximate or precise location to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction. You may also select or search for a city. Selected coordinates and related settings may be saved on your device. You can manage location permission in Android settings.
The App passes coordinates or place searches to Android location and geocoding services. Depending on your device and service provider, these services may process location or search information over a network under their own privacy practices.
Alarms, battery settings and full-screen alerts
Exact alarm, battery optimization exemption and full-screen alert permissions may be used to support prayer and Azan alerts. Android permissions, device settings and background restrictions can affect delivery.
Foreground audio, notifications and vibration
Foreground media playback supports audio while the App is in the background. Notification, vibration and wake-lock capabilities support prayer alerts and reminders. You can manage available notification and sound settings in the App or Android settings.
Device restart
The App can use Android’s restart event to restore scheduled prayer alarms after the device restarts. Actual delivery depends on Android and device settings.
2. Data access, storage and sharing
The App does not require an account. Its locally stored information may include selected city and coordinates, prayer and notification settings, language and display preferences, bookmarks, reading position, personal dhikr entries, counter values and dhikr history. The App uses SQLite and Android app storage for these features.
The App does not use a developer-operated server to collect your App data. It connects to content services described below; Android system services and those providers may process information under their own privacy practices.
The App is designed without advertising or analytics SDKs for advertising or user tracking. Third-party content and device services may handle technical information as described in this policy.
3. Third-party audio repositories and open data sources
Qur’an audio or recitation timing information may be requested directly from EveryAyah, MP3Quran, Quran.com and Islamic Network, depending on the feature used. Requests may identify a reciter, chapter, verse or translation voice. Providers can see your IP address and technical request information and control their own retention practices.
Bundled content credits in the App refer to Quran Foundation, the Turkmen translation and QUL / Tarteel AI, and HadeethEnc. A content credit does not by itself mean that the App sends a request to that source during use.
4. External links and optional community channels
The App may offer optional links to external services such as Telegram or WhatsApp. An external app or website opens when you select a link. Information you choose to share there is governed by that service’s own terms and privacy policy.
5. Target audience and children
The App is intended for users of all ages, including children aged five and under and adults aged 18 and over. Parents and guardians may contact us with questions about how the App handles information.
6. Data retention and deletion
Local information remains on your device until you remove it, clear the App’s storage through Android settings, or uninstall the App. Clearing storage or uninstalling can remove local preferences, bookmarks, personal dhikr entries and history.
Depending on device settings and the final Android backup configuration, Android may back up or restore some App data through a system service. Such backups are managed separately through device or backup account settings; uninstalling does not necessarily delete an existing backup. Third-party providers may retain technical logs under their own practices.
7. Security
The App uses HTTPS connections for its online content services. This helps protect those connections in transit; we cannot control how third-party providers subsequently handle information or guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy when the App or its data practices change. A revised policy will include an updated effective date.
